Bergmann Attorneys at Law acted as the due diligence and negotiation advisor for E-Group a.s. in its acquisition of the pre-construction stage wind power project Saukkovaara in the municipality of Posio, Finland.

E-Group a.s. is one of the fastest-growing companies in the energetics and heat industry in Slovakia. In the renewable energy sector the group is involved in project implementation of solar energy, hydro power, wind energy as well as utilization of biomass and biogas. The Saukkovaara wind park is the company’s pioneering project in Finland.

The Saukkovaara project in the municipality of Posio is envisaged to comprise three wind turbines with an aggregate capacity of up to 10 MW. The construction works of the wind park are intended to be started in 2014.
