Bergmann acted as counsel to Posion Energia Oy in negotiation and conclusion of the Balance of Plant contract for the delivery of the civil and electrical works for the Kuusamo wind power project

Bergmann Attorneys at Law advised Posion Energia Oy in the construction project concerning a wind farm located in the municipalities of Posio and Kuusamo in Northern Finland. The assignment included negotiation and drafting of the Balance of Plant (BoP) contract for a wind farm consisting of seven Vestas V126 turbines with aggregate capacity of up to 23 MW. The construction works of the wind farm are currently under process and the wind turbines are envisaged to be commissioned in late 2016.

The Balance of Plant service will be provided by Empower PN Oy. The contract covers the delivery of the civil and electrical works for the wind farm, including the engineering and construction of an electric substation, required wind farm infrastructure, lifting platforms, foundations and a 20-kilovolt internal grid. The contractor will also perform the project management and planning as well as acceptance inspection for the wind turbines.
