The leading ITS solutions provider init SE has acquired all shares in Mattersoft Oy, a supplier of software solutions for transport companies in Finland. Bergmann served as counsel for init SE.

The Finnish national railway company VR has stopped procurement procedures concerning the purchase of at least 60 diesel locomotives after a successful Market Court appeal of Czech company CZ LOKO. The procurement will be restarted with adjusted conditions. Bergmann served as counsel for CZ LOKO.

Every industrial project in Finland requires a number of permits for which different authorities are each responsible. The different procedures are independent of one another, with no centralised procedure in the sense of “one-stop shopping.”

Drafting and negotiating an EPC contract primarily follows the needs of the project. Universal rules cannot generally be established. But of course, conventions and customs in the target market - Finland in this case - are a factor.
