Finland aims to become CO2-neutral by 2035 and shortly thereafter CO2-negative. In addition, Finland wants to be the first welfare society in the world to completely do without fossil fuels. To achieve these goals, Finland is making significant efforts to promote renewable energy and reform the energy sector.
Read more…Enersense International Plc, a provider of zero-emission energy solutions, has signed an agreement on acquiring wind farm developer Megatuuli Oy. The purchase price will be paid in full by means of new Enersense shares to be issued. The transaction is envisaged to close in January. Bergmann advised one of the shareholders of Megatuuli Oy.

German developer Energiequelle initiates the construction of its wind farms, Takanebacken in the municipality of Maalahti, and Torvenkylä in the municipality of Kalajoki, with a total capacity of 68.4 MW. Bergmann supports Energiequelle in contracting and other legal aspects of the construction project.
